The Roc Nation Brunch Is A Constant Reminder Of How Much Black Wealth Has Grown In The Past Decade

The Roc Nation Brunch has been happening for four years now. Every year the venue and event get bigger and bigger and this year Jay Z and Roc Nation did not hold any punches. This is the first Brunch since Jay Z has reached Billionaire status (congrats Hov!) so we knew the Stars would be showing up in numbers to show their support for the first Hip Hop Billionaire.

We could honestly say while half of the people who showed up were already successful, many of them were not wealthy. Jay Z wasn’t the full owner of the champagne “Ace Of Spades” Co-Owner Of Tidal, Diddy didn’t have a TV Network, and Ciroc wasn’t as successful as it is today. Rihanna did not have her beauty line Fenty, Beyonce did not own Ivy Park, DJ Kaheld was still working is way up and Meek Mill was still a poor kid from Philly trying to make it into the music business.

That is why events like the Roc Nation Brunch is so important, it highlights not only the success of how far these amazing stars have come, but it shows how far Black people in America have come as a collective. Here are some amazing pictures of the event! With more to come!
